No Hugs Please

An Australian school has put a ban on hugging in school compounds, following a series of bans of high fives and playing tag. My reaction? It's totally absurd. This move has since sparked furore amongst parents. Accordingly, one student was given a detention after giving a goodbye hug to her friend. Why did the school do this? It's due to the increase in the incidence of injuries among students who hugged too much, too aggressively. Eh, so the school has good intentions but isnt it a bit drastic to go on with the ban? Just educate the children in a mass lecture... no need to go to this extent. Better still, ask everyone to wear armour! Hahahha...
