The Chef In Me

Here's a look at the dishes I whipped up during the days when mom was staying at sister's house.
The pumpkin bee hoon was the toughest of all! I had to mash the pumpkin or as to get this nice even orange colour for the vermicelli. The ba kut teh was a cheat because I merely added the ingredients into the packed seasoning. Heh. Not that pro after all. It was still heartening because sister commented that the chicken was tender and asked how I managed to do it. Tip: use the knife n lightly tap on e chicken on both sides before cooking. It makes e chicken more tender. Havent achieved the melt in your mouth texture though. That's mom's standard. Haha. Alright. Shall cook again next time!
