Dear Singapore, happy happy birthday! Words can't express my love for u! Despite MRT breakdowns n high housing prices, I still feel safe n secure here n I very much want to stay here. With medishield life n pioneer generation package introduced, it shows how you haf planned ahead for e future of a nation with an increasingly ageing population. No one is left behind. Yes, lots of Singaporeans still complain n they find means n ways to fault u, n that's a trademark of Singaporeans, but no one can undermine your efforts put into building this nation. Thank you, Singapore, for making me feel safe here with your low crime rate. Thank you for making me feel very much at ease, to have a rice bowl over my head. Thank you for e top grade education you provide, albeit stressful, but it's one of e key determinants that shaped me into who I am today. Thanks for everything. I m grateful n proud to be a Singaporean. It's a pity that I didn't get e chance to go to the national day parade n celebrate with u this year, but fret not i'll continue balloting for tix every year :) I love you, Singapore! And yes, I am still patriotic.
