Korean Ice Cream

Guess what is this? A monstrous-octopus looking snack? This is the corn cane ice cream that's only sold in Korea. Since it's something cute and only available in a limited time, of course I must have a taste of it! Ever heard about scarcity? Link back to economics. So cousin and I went to taka food hall months back after learning about it on 8dayseat.     

 The auntie had to break off both ends of a new corn cane, so that she can pump vanilla ice cream into it.

                        Tadaa! All done! Novelty factor 10000 times.

But first let me take a selfie. This was just a while after I shaved my head. I like my studded cap and my top with polka dot collar. I also like my rare attempt at trying to apply eyeliner. Haha.

Okay, enough of photos, the ice cream is melting! Taste wise, this reminded me of corntos/the corn snack, or the popcorn roll of 3 tidbits that I had during my primary school days. It wasnt fantastic because the ice cream made the corn cane soggy. So I would prefer to eat the 2 separately. That aside, I was thrilled by the novelty factor. Presently, this is not available at the food hall as it was only there for the temporary Korean and Jap fair. Look out for it if it makes a comeback!
