Vadeh, Not!

There is one fried snack that I cannot resist a long time ago. That is the savoury Hum Chee Peng, which you can easily find in coffee shops, food stalls and even from the shop Dough Culture in shopping malls. So just last week, I tried my hand at making these tasty snacks (even though I cannot eat them, can smell right? ) according to an online recipe , but it turned out to be a flop! The dough was very much too goey... however the taste was alright surprisingly! I will not post up the recipe just yet because I will try making them a second time around and will make the necessary adjustments to the proportions of ingredients.

You cant see the swirls of five spiced powder in the uncooked hum chee pengs because the dough was a tad gooey. Never mind, next time will be a success!
Looks like the Indian snack Vadeh, which you find in pasar malam right? Haha... chey. These are my cute hum chee pengs. My style. Heh.
