Day 7 of work: experienced a second encounter of sexual harassment from a resident.. He placed his hand on my knee. Sometimes I m not sure of how to interpret these actions. Is it an act of friendliness? Or has he crossed e boundaries? He was smiling when he did that thus it made me confused. He's frail and old n on a wheelchair, surely outraging of someone's modesty should be e last thing on his mind? I was not traumatised or whatever, but I was confused. What if he gets mad when I told him off? What if he complains about me? I still want my rice bowl you know.. Anyway, I consulted my supervisor n he told me to keep a look out and to be aware if such things happened again. I should tell him nicely that his actions are inappropriate and it's making me uncomfortable. Yep, that's one in incident that happened today. He is a really nice n cooperative resident thus this is bothering me a little. Besides this one, I was also surprised to hear that residents are looking for me outside the office! I m only 7 days old in this company thus it is surprising that someone will be looking for me in here. Haha.. Some impressionable things that happened would be the filming that took place days back. I saw MediaCorp artistes jesseca liu and Shaun Chen! Not their fans but I seldom see artistes around so it got me a little excited :) hehe. Learnt from colleagues that filming always take place in my company. Had chicken rice yesterday! But without e chicken. Haha. I only ate veg with rice. These 2 weeks we are having cooks from soup restaurant who come over on a voluntary basis n they are preparing our meals during this period. Good food I must say. Alright that's all about work now.. Dearest Breadman is in UK presently for a conference... Hope all's fine for him.. Not freezing cold. Looking forward to getting my Ted baker bag! Haha.
