Happy Valentines' Day

Happy Valentines' Day to everyone out there, regardless of whether you are attached or single :)
As I am newly single, the feeling of not celebrating this special day feels a little strange to me. Got to get used to the feeling of being single just like 3 years back.... Anyway it's the fifth day of Chinese New Year and I spent my day at the Marina Bay Sands Casino.

Day 5 of Chinese New Year. Off to the casinos to win some money!

Outfit of the Day. Dressabelle dress and belt. Shoes from Violafemme. Seriously, must I always pose in front of the pussy willow plant? Hahaha... Eh a pity that it's the nicest spot in my house. Anyway to sum it up, all of us made a loss at the casinos! Haha.. we kind of expected that though. Dumped my money at the slots machines even though I know how low the odds of winning are. And yes, it is addictive! When I was earning 10 bucks, I managed to convince myself to hang on so as to win some more big money. But then the big win never came and I lost my 10 bucks together with another 20 bucks. Lesson learnt. Do not be greedy. Once you win some money, cash out. It was a nice experience there though, the entry levy is way too expensive for Singaporeans! It is indeed a good deterrent measure for me, because I wouldnt be going there a second time. Once is enough. And, if you thought that the casino has banned smoking, you are so wrong! That's what I thought too... because I assumed since other air conditioned areas like our shopping malls are non smoking areas, thus the casino should be smoke free too. Sadly, I was welcomed with polluted air in the casino. I can even smell the whiff of smoke at the non-smoking level two. This is because the smoke from level one travelled up! So it's totally useless to have a non-smoking level. The staff are friendly though. They are ever ready to help you when you have queries or have difficulty in operating the machines. Plus, they offer you free drinks frequently. You get to choose from latte, milo, hot tea, plain water. Verdict: I had a nice experience at the casino, albeit losing money. Visit it if you have some cash to spare.

Anyway a word of advice to all single ladies out there: Do NOT log on to facebook on Valentines' Day! I logged on and immediately regretted it. Hahaha. It's a day in which couples flaunt their love on the web. Unless you are one who dun get pique with jealousy and you genuinely feel happy for all the couples, I urge you not to go to facebook. Here's a brief summary of my newsfeed : Yiqi's bf made her a card to express his love for her because he couldnt make a delivery of flowers to her this year, Joanna's one made mashed potatoes and planned a night picnic for her, Huili's one delivered a dozen of Twelve Cupcakes to her office, Chen Boon's one gave her Love Vouchers that can be used for 20 times, Huishan woke up to Salmon Egg Benedict  made from scratch from bf, XinYi's one delivered home made lunch to her office much to her surprise... the list goes on and on.... Sobs... I also want! Envious and jealous like mad! I hope I can find someone as sweet as theirs next time! Haha... Nvm, I bought a gift for myself :)
