I chanced upon this page in this month's Herworld magazine and I thought it would be good for me to spread the word on how potent these new year goodies are! Anyway, the lunar new year has been associated with much problems amongst those with diabetes and coronary heart diseases. So here's a reminder to everyone to eat in moderation. This year I have decided to just have one of everything! One pineapple tart, one love letter, one pathetic slice of arrow head chip (it is my favorite because the thinly sliced chip resembles the potato chip!). Lucky for me, I am no fan of bak kwa (barbecued pork) and I cant eat shrimps.. so no shrimp rolls for me plus everything spicy. How about adopting my "one of everything" rule? Able to sample different varieties yet not at the expense of your waistline, how good is that? But make sure you do not have 100 varieties to begin with... hahha....
